Job Description
The Software Delivery Manager applies professional principles, practices, and techniques to lead project teams and control project schedule, cost, and performance risks to ensure satisfied customers. This role has ultimate responsibility for the project and manages customer satisfaction, definition, planning, monitoring, and other aspects of a project.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Manages one or multiple projects at the same time.
Writes, Reviews, and negotiates development and support contracts.
Develops project plans covering scope, cost, schedule, resource ramp-up, metrics, and quality aspects
Manages the entire lifecycle of the project inception, design, coding, testing, and UAT
Responsible to thoroughly understand and communicate stakeholder requirements to appropriate team members, and manage all requirements accordingly to realize each for the stakeholder.
Establish clear ownership for project tasks, ensure that team members have the tools needed and provide timely feedback.
Defines project goals, objectives, and milestones. Tracks and reports project goals with pre-defined metrics to stakeholders
Coordinates and facilitates work among different groups to achieve project milestones.
Assess project issues and identify solutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer goals.
Proactively manage and communicate project status, issues & risks to management.
Conduct regular status meetings with all stakeholders, keeping the stakeholders needs and requirements continuously in view.
Manages change effectively
Shows flexibility and maturity in managing globally distributed teams
Communication Skills:
Verbal / Nonverbal Convey easily and quickly any message
Written - Writes clearly and informatively with a high level of sophistication
Presentation - Presents clearly and informatively, easily maintaining audience attention and responding to audience needs
Motivates and enables team. Resolves conflict within the team.
