Job Description
Automation Practice - Presales
Key Skills
Ability to understand the customer technology landscape, articulate current situation, challenges and desired state.
Ability to articulate a Value Preposition for the customer
Provide technical support throughout the sales cycle to drive opportunities.
Responding to RFP's / RFI's / RFQ's as a solution architect as part of pre-sales process
Participate in due diligence meetings with customer to gather more information on proposal/information request and environment.
Prepare -
- Proposal documents including proposals, pricing sheet, solution presentations against RFPs/RFIs
- Contractual documents such as Statement of Work, Resource Unit Definitions etc.
- Understanding new data technologies/products and position them in relevant solution proposal
- Defend end-to-end solution in front of customers/internal stakeholders
- Working closely alongside other technology owners for optimal solution design in-line with the overall proposed solution.
- Work on Hybrid Infrastructure automation tools with OEM / Partners like CA, IBM, BMC, HP, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, SOLARWINDS, SPLUNK as well as open source tools/scripting such as ELK, Ansible, Saltstack etc to ensure an appropriate solution is proposed during Presales Cycle
Knowledge :
- Strong Knowledge and Work Experience in Infrastructure Domains Data-Center/ Public/Private Cloud, Network, Security, Service Desk, Work Place services desired
- Demonstrate ownership and coordination for the appropriate solution and cost estimation to effectively address client stated service requirements and service levels and ensure an integrated technical solution is built in accordance with service line strategy
- Broad knowledge across multiple technology areas and be cognizant of the emerging technologies under the gamut of infrastructure management to arrive at compelling technology and business solutions.
- Experience in Global Infrastructure outsourcing and Managed Services opportunities
- Broad understanding of the financial construct with the ability to create thorough and complete cost model with required approvals
- Knowledge of ITIL is desired
