We have an urgent requirement for Data Engineer, Big Data. The following are the job description below:

Technical Skills:

3 to 5 years of strong hands on real time big data development experience in Hortonworks Hadoop, Hive, Spark (PySpark/Scala/R), Sqoop, Kafka, Druid
Write ETL and ELT jobs and Spark/Hadoop jobs to perform computation on large scale datasets
Experience in working with relational databases and integrating with Hadoop infrastructure
Good understanding in Hive Data Modeling and SQL
Hands-on experience with Sqoop/Kafka for batch and streaming data ingestion to pull data from different RDBMS sources into the HDFS
Preferred experience in Spark/NiFi/Druid Stream processing
Hands on experience with Distributed messaging system Apache Kafka/Kafka Confluent
Write unit tests , perform code reviews and collaborate with team to implement best coding practices.
Explore various big data technologies to design new product architectures and POCs for same.

Primary Skills:

Personal Skills:

Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills

Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
