Job Description

As a part of the Core development team, the person should be innovative in his thinking and should be through with basic programming concepts to be able to produce quality code with budget and within cost.
Primary task would be the ascertain POCs and come up with workable solution design for product development team. Should be able to take assignments independently and with responsibility.
Would be responsible for producing technical documentation for developments and R&D points
Should have the ability to train the team on use of new technologies as and when expected
Expected to come up with solution design for complex business requirements
Should be able to plan weekly or daily schedule
Should be able to come up with ideas for improvements in product.

Skill & Experience:

Strong Java / J2EE skills including core Java, (JSP/Servlet coding), Java Script
1. Proficiency in Object Oriented programming
2. Java Collections
3. Java Generics/Annotations/ Reflection / Error Handling
4. JSP 2 specifications
5. Understanding of Java Scripts including cross browser scripting
Proficient in designing and development (Creating Producers) of Web Services
1. SOAP Based Web Services, preferably Apache CXF
2. JSON based Web Services Restful Services
3. SOAP UI
4. Basics of SOA
Database , SQL
1. Should have a clear understanding of RDBMS concepts and the database objects and operations
2. Queries including multi-level Joins
3. Views
4. Stored Procedures/ Functions
Experience Enterprise Java Design pattern implementations
1. J2EE Frameworks Struts / Spring, Hibernate
2. Java Design Patterns
Working knowledge of Repository Systems (CVN/ SVN etc.) and build Scripts (ANT/ Maven etc.)
