Are you the one we are looking for
Inviting applications for the role ofAssistant Vice President, CollectionThis is a pan G role where the individual would be managing :
- Business to Business [B2B] collection portfolio of ~ $3.6Bn
- Cash Application
- Dispute management
- Driving B2B timely collectionsfrom clients spreading globally across industries [Consumer goods, Retail, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Insurance, Banking etc.]
- Managing a team of cash applicators ensuring timely and accurate cash applicationon account of remittances received in G bank account against receivables. Ensuring high day 1 cash application percentage
- Quick dispute managementby collaborating between different teams and clients to ensure timely resolution
- Days sales outstanding [DSO]management. Ensuring to drive G DSO at the permissible limit as per the pay term agreed with various clients
- Effective forecast of monthly collections
- Reconciliation of account in case of dispute of payments by clients
- Managing a teamsize of 25 - 30 people
- Ability to influence and drive changewith businesses and within team
- See opportunities for standardization and automationof processes to drive efficiency in collection organization
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications- Bachelor of commerce / Master of commerce
- Outstanding drive, excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to immediately contribute in a team environment
- Ability to influence peers and leaders across the business, and encourage, champion and lead team members
