Inviting applications for the role of Consultant Data Engineer
In this role, we are seeking a Senior Data Engineer, to join a technologically advanced team, focusing on innovation and delivery of critical analytics solutions to MS Research business. This role requires a candidate with good Data Engineering experience and worked extensively in Data warehousing environment. To support Engineer using Agile Methodology and should have an end to end understanding of business use cases, to transform them into an effective and strategic solution. Work with business people to have a real time understanding of business problem and, craft the solution which really fits into needs.
Responsibilities- Technical analysis and design, development and implementation of data warehousing and Analytics Solutions
- Hands-on experience on Informatica ETL tool with good DWH fundamentals, UNIX Shell scripting experience to support data warehousing solutions
- Process oriented, passionate about standardization, streamlining, standard methodologies delivery approach
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skill
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- teamwork in multi-site/multi-geography organizations
- Ability to multi-task and function efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter with flexibility and resourcefulness in a dynamic work environment
- Good Understanding of Agile Methodology
Minimum qualifications
- BE/B Tech /MCA/BCA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Cloud Services (preferably Azure)
- Experience in Data Reporting Tools (preferably Business Objects)
- Experience in Visualization Tools (preferably Tableau)
- Financial Domain experience will be a plus
- Relational database experience (preferably DB2) with strong database fundamentals(partitioning/indexing/designing), PL/SQL concepts & strong SQL skill
- Experience with big data tools - Hadoop, Spark, Kafka etc
- Experience in designing & building real time data pipelines and analytical solutions using big data technology ecosystem (Hadoop, Sqoop, Hive, Spark (preferably pySpark), kafka etc)
- Expert in data analysis in Python (Numpy, Scipy, Scikit-learn, Pandas, etc.)
