Job Description
AM, Network Engineer
- Team Leader - Must have hands on experience managing a team of 10-12 technical resources in a tech support environment
- Must have customer handling skills
- Setup and Troubleshoot and supervise Site to Site IPSec VPN Tunnels between Online Center and customer sites.
- Checkout end systems on the customer network to ensure all required services are enabled for proactive diagnostics and monitoring from online center.
- Provide Remote network connectivity and system level support on call and through Online Technical workflows.
- Fix site/system connectivity issues with Site IT manager and Field Engineers.
- Work closely with project management teams to ensure that project work are understood and SLAs are met.
- Add/Modify/Delete VPN configuration and site/system details from core routers and operational data store.
- Update/maintain all documentation requested by management and will be tasked with improving such documentation as required.
- Intensify and manage Incidents not resolved by L3 Connectivity Team.
- Perform Change and Capacity Management activities with Central Team.
- Prepare activity and monitoring reports on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
- Track exception solutions and document them in secured shared locations.
- Inform Management of recurring Operational or Production problems.
- B.Tech/B.E in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics and Telecommunication, BCA/MCA, B.sc/M.sc IT with CCNA certification
- Proficient CCNA level networking skills including TCP/IP, IP Subnets, NAT, ACL, LAN and WAN technologies, VLANs, Static and Dynamic Routing.
- Workings technical knowledge of Site to Site IPsec VPN configuration and troubleshooting using cisco devices.
- Ability to operate network/system tools, components and peripheral accessories
- Knowledge of Linux/ Windows OS and basic OS troubleshooting skills.
- Superb communication Skill
