Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Work in a development team to develop web applications using VB.Net / ASP.NET / C# / MVC applications.
- Perform design and development of web-based services and applications.
- Work closely with quality assurance team to ensure delivery of high quality and reliable web applications.
- Develop databases including queries, triggers and stored procedures.
- Monitor application performance at post-deployment stage and make necessary changes if needed.
- Research and develop prototypes of complicated design solutions.
- Perform code reviews and provide necessary corrections.
- Perform application design, development and deployment based on industrys best practices.
- Resolve application defects and issues in a timely manner.
- Prepare technical documents as per established project standards.
- Works collaboratively with Project Manager to ensure timely delivery of project.
- Coordinate with Business Analysts and Test Analysts to ensure that the developed application meets technical requirements and client needs
Essential Skills
- 2+ 3 year of Web application development experience working with VB.Net / ASP.NET Web Forms, C#, Web API or WPF, HTML5, jQuery, and CSS3. Bootstrap, Entity Framework, SQL Database management, Web API
- Knowledge of the .NET framework and its newest features.
- Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
- Experience in on premise, hybrid and cloud based solutions
- Strong understanding of the structure and logic of Object-Oriented programming.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work, meets deadlines, and work independently.
- Must be a team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources.
- Stays abreast of the development in area of professional competence.
- Requires strong oral and written communication skills to interact with business and internal teams
Preferred Add-on Skills
Knowledge Azure and / or Amazon Cloud services,
Knowledge of developing Hybrid Mobile Apps like Ionic - Cordova, NodeJs etc
