Job Description

Strong knowledge of SQC, PL/SQL fundamental concepts and Oracle RDBMS
Strong knowledge in query optimization and performance tuning
Involved in designing and implementing the SQC structure, library and performable and insertable logics.
Created indexes on the tables for faster retrieval of the data to enhance database performance.
Experience in writing complex SQL queries involving multiple tables inner and outer joins.
Performed SQL and PL/SQL tuning and Application tuning using various tools like EXPLAIN PLAN, SQL TRACE, TKPROF and AUTOTRACE
Involved in Development and Created PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, packages, cursors and triggers.
Extensively involved in using hints to direct the optimizer to choose an optimum query execution plan
Used Bulk Collections for better performance and easy retrieval of data, by reducing context switching between SQL and PL/SQL engines
Developed materialized views for data replication in distributed environments
Should have experience of E2E Application Development lifecycle
Experience in Agile delivery methodology
