Job Description

General Summary: The Principal Engineer, DevOps will be responsible for cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and application environments. This includes the continuous implementation of DevOps principles and tooling for system performance, scalability, reliability, security and fault tolerance.
Essential Functions
Create a DevOps framework, including CI/CD capabilities, Configuration Management, and Source Code Management
Support, develop, enhance, and maintain our cloud infrastructure for high availability and scale
Configuring and integrating with third-party services; manage developer and administrator accounts including on-boarding and off-boarding
Responsible for data backup integrity and failover / fallback strategies
Optimize server configuration and network architecture
Frequently, run performance testing, identify potential performance issues and help the team find a resolution
Ownership of the cloud-based products and services you build understand and continuously be aware of data security requirements of our various data sources (e.g. analytics services, IoT events data, etc.)
Help automate continuous integration using tools like Jenkins and Bamboo
Develop/Enhance complex data driven Automation framework to support Device Software, Cloud modules, UI and API testing,
