Job Title: Senior Test Manager
Job Location: OMR, Kandanchavadi, Chennai.
Experience: 12+ Years
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead the testing effort and/or team to plan, construct and execute release tests.
- Drive and take initiatives, to establish and strengthen robust testing practice across the portfolio of projects, by setting up required process, standards and tools.
- Apply testing methodologies, for different testing phases to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.
- Apply business and functional knowledge to meet the teams overall test objectives including functional testing, system integration testing, performance testing, load testing, defect triaging etc.
- Architect and execute the roadmap of items for automation of scripts for different test phases.
- Coach and advice testers as required.
- Experience or exposure working in Agile Methodology (SCRUM).
Required Skills:
- 12+ years of performance testing experience with at least to 5 years of it involving Healthcare industry. Must have experience in developing System Architecture Documents
- Strong process knowledge, prior experience in defining and establishing testing practice for one or more clients.
- Extensive knowledge and experience of performing and leading different phases of testing, including test automation.
- Testing Coordination experience to understand when to engage different teams such as DBA, Dev, architect or admins. Working experience in tools like Selenium, Protractor, GIT, JIRA, MS XL etc.
- Metrics driven and ability to monitor, track and show improvements on the same.
- Ability to present suggestions, roadmap items for overall testing practice to the leadership team
- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineer and related.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate.
- To work under pressure, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary support to the team.
- Good research skills and attention to detail.
