Are you the one we are looking forWe are inviting applications for the role of SA, Forecasting & Parts Inventory Management
This role entails forecasting of inventory requirement to be stocked in central warehouse and studying trends on how inventory is moving over a period of time. Placing PO s with supplier and maintaining supplier relationship and ensuring closure of all shipments and resolving any issues related with goods from ordering to in transit to completion of shipment. Resolving escalations and working with teams globally based in different parts of the world.
Responsibilities- Creating Purchase Orders and follow up with external suppliers if orders need to be expedited.
- Upload order acknowledgements from suppliers with notes specifying the status of the delivery in Oracle.
- Resolve queries on customer orders or FE orders for all regions globally to the OM (Order Management) team in India, Sweden and North America.
- Data download for inventory across global warehouses and releasing reports based on current versus previous week s inventory and showing trend analysis.
- Dashboards which shows inventory defects in terms of quantity and value and their graphical representation
- Planners Scorecard that shows how each planner is managing stocks and requisitions
- Excess Inventory comparison from week to week
- Analysis of inventory movement on a month on month basis and check on parts which have deviated from previous trends.
- Based on demand analysis, price of parts, MOQ, and current inventory, need to calculate inventory forecasts in the weeks to come and duration for which current inventory would last.
- Review demand/consumption analysis and set-up planning parameters safety stock, MOQ, etc.
- Demantra forecasting review and highlight gaps to S&OP team for approval/correction.
- Graduate in any stream
- Extremely good interpersonal skills
- Certification in Supply Chain Management and familiar with terms in Inventory Management.
- Good Knowledge of Oracle R12 (for Planning)
- Knowledge of Oracle Demantra application for forecasting
- Good working knowledge of MS Office/Excel
- Quick on responses and innovative thinking in data representation.
