Job Description
Qualifications and skills:
- Bachelors degree in technical discipline minimum 2 years of experience with Ruby on Rails, along with other common libraries such as RSpec and Resque.
- Good Understanding of the syntax of Ruby and its Nuances.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
- Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors ( such as Sass, based on project requirements )
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as Javascript, HTML5 and CSSS3
- Familarity with concepts of MVC, Mocking , ORM , and RESTFUL.
- Able to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools ( eg. Git , Mercurial or SVN )
- Basic Knowledge of deploying and maintaining code on production environments
- Must be efficient with linux commands and tools
- Able to use heroku and aws for deployment.
- Excellent oral and written Skills in english.
- creative talents and the ability to solve tough problems
- In-depth knowledge of the industty and its current events
- The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
- Skill in prioritising and triaging obligations
- Attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organisation
