About the Team
The S/4HANA Test Engineering unit is working to solve complex challenges towards achieving complete test automation for the mission critical ERP. We are on a journey towards developing intelligent solutions for smart testing with host of services, accelerating towards achieving industry first intelligent automation and extending to also cover upgrade testing for customers.
We have varied product expertise across SAP Products from legacy to S/4H Cloud. We are the enablers to achieve automation for SAP Intelligent Enterprise Scenarios including integration scenarios across SAP Cloud solutions, furthermore team is also actively involved with SAP s new implementation Solution (SAP X4-BC).
We work with varied modern technologies like Java, JS, Python, ML, Kubernetes, Cloud SCP, AWS, GCP etc. We create opportunities for everyone to experience multiple technologies and our people are always encouraged to innovate, explore different technologies and excel at their individual passions (We love cricket but there s something for everyone). Expectations & Tasks
As a Senior Developer, you will be working in a fast-paced technical environment with Product Owners/ Architects / Developers / UI designers & Subject Matter Experts.
- You will be working in a cross-functional team of talented, supportive, and motivated colleagues, following agile methodologies and industry best practices.
- Get involved in designing, implementing & testing of solutions, in an innovative environment with openness for new technologies.
- Show initiative and drive topics to resolution in a high level of quality, speed, reliability and efficiency.
- Work in accordance with agile development models which requires the individual to be self-driven, take decisions independently as well as be flexible in order to cater to the demands
- Work closely together with others and shares expertise to ensure product success.
- Enhances skills beyond own core functional focus and work on other tasks for the benefit of the team
- Have technical knowledge and shares expertise within and across team and organization. Have knowledge of development processes and product standards.
- You contribute to the team spirit by supporting an environment of continuous learning, exchanging of ideas & thoughts and embracing a culture of innovation
Education & Qualification
- B. E / B. Tech with an aggregate score of 60% or above.
- 4+ years of relevant work experience
Skills & Competencies
Desired Skills
- Experience as developer in designing and implementing frameworks / applications using 1 or more of the below technologies
- ABAP / oDATA / HANA / CDS Views / HTML5 / UI5
- Java-J2EE / JS / SCP / Cloud Platforms
- Open source and CI Tools Spring Batch / Olingo / GIT / Jenkins / k8S / Docker
- Knowledge on test automation tools and concepts is preferred
- Experience developing on S/4 technology stack preferred
- Enthusiastic team player with strong communication skills, results-driven you have experience working as part or leading of a well performing team with high spirit.
- Experience working with agile development principles
- Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills with ability to explain complex information in a clear and precise manner
- Must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and drive to make that vision a reality
Additional Skills
- Exposure to SAP Cloud Platforms, or AWS / GCP etc.
- Exposure to SAP Gardener with Kubernetes API s and clusters
- Exposure to machine learning algorithms using HANA PAL or EML (TF) etc.
