Inviting applications for the role of Consultant- Ruby-on-Rails & Golang
In this role, you will be responsible for crafting clean, functional code that flawlessly suits the needs of the company. Your main focus will be coding and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests. To support Engineer using Agile Methodology and should have an end to end understanding of business use cases, to transform them into an effective and strategic solution. Work with business people to have a real time problem and, craft the solution which really fits into needs.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable Ruby & Golang code, Analysis of Application code, Tune code, write Procedures, perform indexing, and other elements
- Help maintain code quality, organization and automatization
- Maintain responsibility for analysis of Incident Tickets & Resolution, supply to Continual Service Improvement Programs
- Onshore and offshore point of contacts to review quality of work youre doing, work papers, audit/ assessment reports
- Tackle and resolve production problems with new insights
- Regular interaction (in person, email and over phone) with business and technical partners locally and globally for status update, requirement discussions, discussion around solution/approach etc
- Identifying, fixing bottlenecks, bugs and Maintaining, fixing web applications
- Establish POCs to validate the client solutions
- System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains
- Evaluate new technology options and vendor products
- Establish a dialogue with the client to achieve trusted technical adviser status
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
- BE/B Tech/M Tech/MCA/BCA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred qualifications
- Hands on experience in Ruby on Rails, Ruby, Golang, MySQL, PostgreSQL, GIT, R Spec, JQuery, Ajax, CSS, HTML, Jira/TFS, XML, and Agile SCRUM methodologies, UNIX/LINUX environment
- Good understanding of the syntax of Ruby and its nuances
- Experience on Payment integration
- Shifts: Rotational Shift 24*7 model
- Passion for writing great, simple, clean, efficient code
- Good knowledge of relational databases, shown problem management and analytical capabilities
- Attention to detail, with ability to produce clear, concise documentation
- Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system
- Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
