ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you would be responsible for providing Improvement & Development services in a Java environment during regular hours. Candidate will be working with SMEs, Business Analyst, module developers & Users complete end-to-end SDLC for Capital Market Client.
Additional responsibilities shall include contributing in designing and detailing of the software architecture based on existing architecture and inputs received from Client from time to time. Perform unit testing, integration testing and UAT as and when required. Also, engage with Client in requirement gathering, Status update on work, UAT and be the key partner in the overall engagement.
Qualifications we seek in youMinimum qualifications
BE/B Tech/MCA
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred qualifications- Good technical skills in JAVA/JEE development (Development on Java 8 is a must), Spring Framework (Core, Boot, Integration is a must), Oracle Coherence Cache or similar in-memory grid cache technologies
- Excellent in Java Concurrency, IO and Collections, REST / SOAP Web Services, good work experience with Sybase, Oracle, phenomenal in Unix and any one scripting language, JUnit test cases and knowledge on DevOps toolchain, JMS messaging using anyone platform MQ/EMS/Solace
- Technical Skill Set (Secondary) - Mongo DB, Knowledge on using Splunk and Geneos, UI technologies like Angular, Node etc., Experience with Cloud-based development, and deployment
- Good Enterprise-level Java Application Architecture, Design and Development experience
- Act as a specialist on the work stream to drive strategy meetings and product development opportunities
- Experience in working with Scrum/Agile teams across locations, attending stand-ups and estimating complexity for stories and tasks assigned
- Participating and driving the testing process including defining and executing unit tests, supporting QA team with the development of integration and regression tests.
- Should be able to maintain quality of code, come up with ideas to improve existing processes
- Ability to profile the code and certify system stability throughout improvement/maintenance periods
- Sense of ownership and hands on approach to problem solving
- Experience of working in Investment Banking Front Office Technology
- Experience of supporting applications
- Good Interpersonal skills with experience of working with people spread across locations / time-zones
- One who is Passionate about technology, problem solving, ability to adapt new skills, sharing expertise and knowledge
- Excellent client facing skills that include conducting compelling technical briefing & demonstrations. The person should have a technical curiosity to implement new technologies and articulate the solutions to the client
