Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant- Release Manager
In this role, you will work as a release manager. To support Engineer using Agile Methodology and should have an end to end understanding of business use cases, to transform them into an effective and strategic solution. Work with business people to have a real time problem and, craft the solution which really fits into client needs.
Responsibilities- Track changes to UK Platform applications through the lifecycle of the release
- Perform quality gate on all changes
- Ensure smooth co-ordination of safe deployment of an application into production/DR
- For T24, responsible for providing the Implementation run book
- Handling the Change Advisory Board and running the weekly meetings
- Co-ordinates with Environment Management for the release test environment and any specific test scenarios which are required
- Planning for each release and producing release schedule for the year ahead
- Coordinate the production release with various implementers and support staff across locations
- Work with Test Management to ensure adherence to process (Some experience of QA ing Unit and SIT tests to ensure scope is adequate)
- Advice and support on the release and change process (experience of SDLC especially around release management processes needed)
- Candidate will provide cover for Test Environment Management function, including morning checks, and the ability to follow up on issues
- Seek and resolve production problems with new ideas
- Coordinate with infrastructure team environment provisioning/maintenance/migration
- Regular interaction (in person, email and over phone) with business and technical partners locally and globally for status update, requirement discussions, discussion around solution/approach etc
Minimum qualifications
- BE/B Tech/M Tech/MCA/BCA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of SNOW, IRMA, and use of these tools in the past
- Previous JIRA use
- Good communication skill is required to director level
- Quality driven with Persistent attitude
- Great teammate with rest of Release Management team
- Manage release process in HP ALM (ALM experience needed)
