Job Description



Experience overview:

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience with technical implementations and Support of Salesforce CRM. Salesforce.com certification is highly encouraged.
  • Hands on experience in setting up Salesforce end to end.
  • Excellent hands-on experience in Application Support (Tier 2 and Tier 3).
  • Hands on experience in new customer deployments of the identified applications.
  • Deployment of application enhancements and customizations, application upgrade activities, incident support and support for customer requests and continuous improvement efforts for the environment on configuration.
  • Excellent development knowledge VisualForce, Apex.
  • Resource is expected to handle Enhancement severity ranging from low to high.
  • Experience on Integration of other cloud based solution to Salesforce.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com development including modifying of standard and creation of custom objects and fields.
  • Proven ability to independently perform development, testing, implementation, documentation and updates as it relates to the SalesForce.com software and system administration.
  • Experience in the implementation of data exchange between systems in different locations through web services.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills. Effective problem solver and troubleshooter.
  • Ability to handle full workload and meet proposed deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Salesforce.com CRM application; maintain the functional areas of data management, Contacts, Leads, Campaigns, Opportunities, Dashboards and Reports.
  • Implement new enhancements including creation of custom objects, workflows, email alerts, templates and campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain Visual Force, App Exchanges, Force.com pages and integration to other third party solutions. Maintain multiple user roles, security, profiles, and workflow rules. Support training of new end users on salesforce.com application.
  • Evaluate, advise and implement best practices in the integration and exchange of data between Salesforce and other SCANA systems including but not limited to its PeopleSoft system.
  • Work with business areas to gather and/or assist with requirements definition.
  • Demonstrate and maintain ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced changing environment.

Recommend changes in development, maintenance, and system standards.
Document and analyze processes, procedures, and/or policies.
Other skills
Excellent organizational, consultative and communication skills with strong analytical skills and attentiveness to detail.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients.
