Job Description
Job descriptionDesigning Information and communications technology (ICT) systems, Audiovisual (AV )system, security system (Closed-circuit television (CCTV),fire alarm and emergency voice evacuation system, public address & building management system etc.).
Carrying out design reviews at appropriate intervals during the design process with the Lead Engineer.
Carrying out detailed design coordination with other disciplines.
Managing other professionals on a project basis (engineers, BIM/CAD technicians, and support staff) and ensuring that work produced is to the required quality, produced on time, and within budget.
Responding to site RFIs, conducting reviews of specialist suppliers or contractor prepared designs, and attending site meetings to resolve construction issues.
Keeping records and related data of design progress in order to maintain regular/timely updates to the head of the department.
Responsible for the design works and documentation in order to achieve the project target completion date.
Attending design and client meetings regularly and liaising with others for details of works and coordination of requirements among various parties.
In-depth knowledge of local ELV regulations, BICSI, EIA/TIA standards, international design standards and codes of practice. Qualification & Experience: BE / BTech / MTech - Electrical / Instrumentation/ Electronics
Minimum 03-05 years of relevant work experience with system design involvements
Good practical understanding of ICT/ Telecom / ELV systems
Good understanding of building systems related to MEP etc.
Design acumen for IP CCTV and PAVA will be an added advantage
Cisco networking system understanding will be an added advantage
