Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- To plan and execute production as per the validated parameters.
- To take care of the entire process and to achieve the target.
- To monitor the process trend rates based on the online inspection reports and initiate corrective actions .
- To prepare Daily, weekly & monthly reports and submit the same to the General Manager.
- To ensure the effective machine utilization and resources available.
- To co-ordinate with support departments for smooth functioning of the plant and machinery.
- To ensure the process solutions and intermediate solutions as per need.
- To ensure if the ISO and all other quality procedures are being followed.
- To continuously monitor and identify potential non-conformances in the process and take corrective and preventive action to eliminate quality defects.
- To perform cost reduction in production related activities.
- To ensure proper training is provided to the team periodically.
- To perform defect analysis and initiate corrective and preventive action.
- New machine & mold testing and commissioning
- Interaction with Marketing and Customers.
- To maintain good housekeeping in the Department
- To analyze customer complaints and ensure CAPA implemented.
- To implement , zero defect culture on floor
Desired Candidate Profile
Diploma/ Degree in Plastics/CIPET Knowledge/Exposure/Skills Required
- Good exposure and experience into Injection Moulding and thin wall products
- Ability to perform new product development.
- Troubleshooting skills
- Minimum 5 yrs of managerial experience.
- Ability to prepare process Datasheet
- Good at Production Planning Strategy, Manufacturing Processes, Process Improvement, Problem analysis and Resolution.
- Perform capacity analysis
- Good knowledge on ISO and Food Grade certification standards.
