Maintenance workers, also known as repair workers, fix and maintain mechanical equipment, buildings, and machines. Tasks include plumbing work, painting, flooring repair and upkeep, electrical repairs and heating and air conditioning system maintenance.

We are hiring a maintenance worker to join our maintenance team. You will inspect different equipment and perform any basic repairs or preventative maintenance when required. To do well in this role you should have previous experience in maintenance, be highly skilled with various hand and power tools, and be able to read blueprints and repair manuals.

Job Title: Electrician

We are looking for an experiencedElectriciantoundertake a variety of tasks relating to setting up and maintaining electrical infrastructure. Your job will involve installing electrical wiring in buildings and poles, troubleshooting malfunctions and blackouts and repairing appliances.

Job Title: Painter

Painter Job Purpose:

Responsible for mixing paints, matching colours, preparing surfaces, and applying paint to these surfaces. May perform touch-ups or coordinate large painting projects related to the construction industry.

Painter Job Duties:

  • Preparing painting surfaces by washing walls, repairing holes, or removing old paint
  • Mixing, matching, and applying paints and other finishes to various surfaces
  • Providing decorative and faux finishes as the project requires
  • Handling planning and prep work in an efficient manner
  • Preparing the surrounding area by covering with cloth or plastic to prevent messes
  • Moving furniture and equipment as necessary to reach the entire surface of the project
  • Calculating the amount of materials and time required for said project
  • Removing fixtures such as door knobs and light switch covers
  • Taping off areas as needed
  • Choosing and purchasing paint, brushes, and other supplies from vendors
  • Quoting and negotiating job prices

     Job Title:  Furniture Carpenter

  • A furniture carpenter may work with an organization that deals in furniture making especially made to order projects or in an independent capacity. The main work of a person at this position is to ensure that furniture items are made exactly according to the requirements of the client.

    To work as a furniture carpenter, you do not need more than a high school diploma or a GED equivalent. If you have had prior experience in this regard, your candidature will be considered on top priority. Knowledge of the different types of woods, and how they can be used to make different kinds of furniture items is required primarily.

    In addition to this, you need to know the techniques and methods which need to be followed in order to make certain types of items. A furniture carpenter does not only build the structure of an item he or she is also required to handle the finishing and polishing part of the work.
