Job Description

Diploma or Mechanical Engineering 3 to 6 years of experience

Roles and Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance work and respond to equipment faults.
• Fit new parts and make sure equipment is working correctly
• Carry out quality inspections on jobs
• Control maintenance tools, stores and equipment
• Monitor and control maintenance costs Deal with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs.
• Improve health and safety policies and procedures.
• write maintenance strategies to help with installation and commissioning guidelines
• ensure there is continuous cover of the machinery and equipment in case of breakdowns.
• Maintained standard operation parameters.
• Able to identify equipment problems, report abnormal conditions and document properly using logs, records, and our work request system..
• Conduct routine rounds on equipment to ensure proper operation of equipment.
• Assist maintenance when necessary to support overall maintenance of plant.
• Area housekeeping as required. 
• Ensure area is kept safe and environmentally sound, report any problems immediately.
• Participate in area meetings, training and other plant meetings when applicable
• Reduce to plant down time.
• Maintain good coordinate with shift Engineer.
