Job Description
Manage a team of branch operations staff (Teller/Customer Support Officer) and ensure smooth running of
the branch. Ensure compliance to banking guidelines, quality framework and audit requirements.
2. Authorize all transactions posted by the Teller and other operations staff and ensure timely and error-free
transactions. Ensure that all relevant notices and displays are updated in the branch as per RBI requirements.
3. Ensure safe custody of all stationery, account kits, cheque books, forms etc and timely updation of all relevant
registers. Ensure compliance with KYC, AML, audit and other regulations in all branch banking operations.
4. Facilitate cross-sell of savings and investment products to clients to meet branch objectives. Delivery of high
standards of customer service and relationship management to clients to enable retain them.
His/her job description involves managing his/her banks operations team to deliver effective financial services to clients.
He/she is responsible for ensuring outstanding customer relations and high sales, as well as imbibing the banks service culture in all staff members through personal coaching and granting of bonuses and other incentives to motivate staff.
In order to achieve best results in due time, operations managers need to delegate duties to various team members, giving them specific tasks to accomplish for the overall success of banking operations.
