Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
This position requires that the candidate demonstrates high level of Leadership and Management skills & would have accountability towards the team and management.
- Manage and develop Air Export product.
- Pricing, Booking, Documentation, Billing, Custom Clearance, Customer Support.
- Ensure prompt quotations, timely execution of shipments, billing and job closing.
- Develop relationship with Airlines for best rates and overseas agents for better support and delivery cost.
- Use potential of our existing WCA network to get more nomination business.
- Help organization to get IATA registration.
- Deliver best customer experience.
- Always be updated and keep customers updated on market situation.
Idol profile
- Must have proven performance and detailed knowledge of Air Export service.
- In-depth knowledge of freight forwarding, pricing, competitors, Air lines.
- Has handled all products such as air & sea imports & exports, custom clearance, project cargo.
- Has experience in handling operations team.
- Should have previous experience of working with overseas agents, IATA, Airlines.
- Should have already worked in Ahmedabad and can handle shipments from all major airports.
- Should have relevant experience of 5 to 10 years.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
IATA Certified - Basic Cargo Introductory programmer or Dangerous Goods Regulations Programme
Graduate or Post Graduate
Preferred Skills
Language : High fluency in English. Moderate fluency in Hindi and Gujarati
Computer : Proficient in the use of modern technology, word, excel, outlook, our inhouse freight forwarding software.
