About The Role
The candidate will be an Operational Risk Officer in the Risk Intelligence & Oversight (RIO) Reporting team. This team is responsible for building meaningful insights for aggregating/disaggregating metrics and complex datasets, perform practical business analysis, and develop and present insights in a meaningful and easy to understand manner. Also, responsible for designing, developing, testing and documentation activities related to key reports and routines performed by the team. Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the core data and reporting model(s) within Operational Risk Group
  • Create and interpret Business Intelligence data (Reporting, Basic Analytics, Predictive Analytics and Prescriptive Analytics) combined with business knowledge to draw supportable conclusions about current and future risk levels.
  • Design rich data visualizations to communicate complex ideas and automate reporting and controls.
  • Design, build, and execute data quality controls that ensure completeness and accuracy on RIO datasets and reports
  • Lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your team members feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them.
  • Accomplish responsibilities which include providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.

Essential qualifications:

  • Overall 8+ years of experience with 4+ years of hands-on experience on Tableau and/or SSRS, Advanced Excel (VBA Macros, Power Pivots etc.) and 2+ years of experience in leading the team
  • Predictive modeling experience text mining, regression, classification, statistics
  • Experience with SQL or other querying languages, scripting languages, & big data technologies
  • Ability to synthesize complex analytical findings into executive level communications
  • Experience of hands-on risk reporting, intelligence and strong analytics & problem solving experience
  • Virtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment
  • Demonstrated information technology experience in areas such as systems development lifecycle, architecture, application management, infrastructure management, third party, resiliency and information security to better articulate risk themes in reporting
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to translate actionable results simplistically
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Bachelor s or Master s Degree in computer science, economics, statistics, mathematics or other quantitative field
