Leads initiatives, analysis, and ongoing processes to drive credit culture, appetite, and business performance with input from senior leadership within a single function or line of business specific role. Advises and counsels leadership. Directs and coordinates the various activities related to assessing and predicting risk and performance through business analysis and/or modeling.
Contributes to development of appropriate strategies that ensure risk is within risk appetite. Analyzes and assists with the approval of programs and policies with a measurable impact on the level of risk taken in credit activities. Acts as a technical expert for senior management on complex issues. Leads implementation of multiple complex initiatives with low to moderate risk. Ensures coordination with team, line of business, other business units, Audit, and regulators on risk related topics. Manages a team of Sr Associates, Associates and/or Analysts in accomplishing goals. Responsibilities
Lead D&I and Loss Forecasting for Small Business Lending Credit Risk team.
Leads initiatives, analysis, and ongoing processes to drive credit culture, appetite, and business performance with input from senior leadership within a single function or line of business specific role. Advises and counsels leadership.
Offshore team development includes driving hiring, training, development and retaining of strong analytical capabilities for the analysts that support the various functional areas of credit risk management.
Contributes to development of appropriate strategies that ensure risk is within risk appetite. Analyzes and assists with the approval of programs and policies with a measurable impact on the level of risk taken in credit activities.
Directs and coordinates the various activities related to assessing and predicting risk and performance through business analysis and/or modeling. Keeping senior risk management closely informed of any emerging analytical data solutions, both internal and external.
Monitor/report various credit, vintage, product, offer, channel, industry, delinquency, loss rate and performance information, driving Acquisitions and/or Portfolio Management strategy decisions. Providing quick and statistically sound diagnostic evaluation of any emerging and unexpected credit or fraud risk.
Manages communication and collaboration with business heads, Legal, Audit, and regulators on risk related topics.
Manages a team of Officers and/or Associates / Sr. Associates or cross-functional teams in accomplishing goals and priorities.
To be effective in this position, you will need to have a deep understanding of credit from a full lifecycle perspective, a broad and strategic perspective on risk management, and practice in the test and learn discipline for strategy development, and be fluent in both the key technical tools of credit risk decisioning and sound credit judgment.
