Job Description
Dear Candidate,
We are having multiple openings in Insurance & Reinsurance.
Quality Assurance Analyst (2 -6 years)
Location - Mumbai
Shifts -Rotational (UK timings)
Roles and Responsibilities
What can you expect?
- This position will be responsible for doing Quality Assurance activity for the Insurance business
- In this position, you will get an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the control framework and processes of various Group entities.
- You will be exposed to different lines of Business and will have a view of policy wordings of various products giving you a good understanding of the Insurance Products.
- You will get a chance to understand the coverages, exclusions, and other clauses in-depth in the policy wording.
- You will develop the skill to interpret policy wordings and give your opinion on any shortcomings.
- You will have a view of the entire broking cycle right from the time when the client was approached to the time when the policy was placed and will learn to identify gaps in this process.
- You will be working with regional and global monitoring leaders to achieve their control enhancement and business facilitation objectives.
- You would get an opportunity to understand the scenarios in which an E&O can happen and learn ways to reduce the Groups E&O exposure
We will count on you to:
- Learn and understand the insurance and reinsurance industry in the UK
- Review Insurance and Reinsurance placements with a view to finding gaps/errors in placements.
- Understand the policy wording related to these placements and advise on any shortcomings to Business.
- Understand Group and Company procedures and assess compliance in terms of the business placed by the Group companies.
- Recommend pragmatic and effective remedial measures (with support from senior colleagues) to Business for addressing any procedural breaches caused during the placement process.
What you need to have:
- Any Graduate with at least 4 years of work experience and Postgraduate with 2 years of experience.
- Experience in General Insurance will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of the Insurance and Reinsurance process would be a plus.
- Working knowledge of MS office and good communication skills.
- Willingness to learn different Insurance products and wordings to gain Technical expertise.
- Eye for detail
