Job Description
Requirements
A Master or PhD in mathematics, physics, engineering or a comparable qualification
Experience in relevant fields of Image Visualization, Image Processing, Data Processing
and Machine Learning methods
Experience in developing and supporting ML-based image analysis solutions is preferred
Professional experience in a commercial environment with Matlab, Python, TensorFlow,
Deep Convolutional Neural Networks
Experience with 2D/3D toolkits such as OpenGL, ImageJ, or OpenCV programming
environments
Experiences in real-time processing and/or multispectral data is beneficial.
Experience with applications at scale and handling large datasets is desired.
Experience with imaging systems, lithography, process control is highly valued.
Experience working closely with development teams and clients to scope technical
requirements and produce tailored solutions for image processing problems; proven
ability to turn initial solution ideas into prototypes, and generate IP for key technology
developments
Ability to discuss with apps developers on customer needs and the physical processes
involved in the image generation is required to understand the artefacts of the imaging
methods and to develop correction measures
Applicants should be well organized and have excellent verbal and written
communication skills. This includes the ability to express own ideas into formulas and/or
clear structured code and the ability to lead structured communication with people from
different global locations.
A passion for technology, with an awareness of current trends and innovations in
artificial intelligence, machine learning, image segmentation, and image processing
The willingness to learn new things and the flexibility to work in a highly demanding
market
Highly motivated team player eager to work in mixed teams of developers, testers,
product managers and architects
Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally
