Summary & Role Information:
SAP DSC Emerging Technologies and Innovation Team is a strategic innovation entity within SAP Intelligent Spend and Business Network, combining software engineering excellence with thought leadership and entrepreneurial spirit. We focus on building pioneer game-changing solutions while in close collaboration with customers and partners in industry and research as well as with other SAP units. By exploring unconventional ideas and developing inspiring proofs of concept, we push the state of the art in computer science and enterprise application fields in order to provide SAP foresight into future trends. We are looking for new team members with an innovative mindset to build the next generation of business network solutions. In this job, you will
Work closely with the team to understand requirements and convert to new software programs including developing, testing and implementing.
Collaborate and innovate with other engineering teams to deliver state-of-the-art SaaS application.
Work with team members to conduct root cause analysis
You will also be working in an Agile SCRUM environment with development responsibilities that span across the whole stack of the development.
Experience (Role Requirements):
10+ years of experience in developing enterprise class software applications
Expertise and hands-on experience in HANA
Excellent programming skills in Node JS
Excellent understanding of web technologies (HTTP, HTML5, XML, JSON)
Knowledge of Relational Databases and Data Structures.
Excellent knowledge of cloud platforms (SAP Cloud Platform, SAML authentication, Cloud Identity)
Strong problem solving and decision making skills while using good judgement.
A great team player with good oral and written communications skills.
MS or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering
