Job Description
About the role:
Should be a strong individual contributor and be able to work with minimal direction in a matrixed environment, working with leading IT Vendors to resolve product issues and develop solutions to meet business needs in an IT support environment. This position involves the administration of HP Operations Orchestration infrastructure end to end where the enterprise level automations and deployments are orchestrated. This group is an expert in leveraging HPSA , Big fix and HPOO to gain efficiencies for infrastructure management. We are looking for a high energy individual with good technical skills and broad creativity around HPOO and HPSA Tools and leveraging them for software deployments . Dedication to delivery and availability is a must, as is the ability to deliver on multiple work streams simultaneously. This position is ideal for candidates that prefer a highly collaborative environment with lots of ambiguity, working closely with deployment planners, OS engineers and Support teams. He/she must have the ability to adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner. This position is not for people that prefer individual contributions or 100% programming. Essential Qualifications
- 5+ HPOO experience
- 5+ HPSA experience
- 3+ years strong scripting experience in Python/shell/perl
- 5+ years OS (Windows. Unix, Linux) support OR application development experience with at least 2 years hands on experience with Windows and Unix/Linux.
- 2+ Relational Database (preferably Oracle) and SQL queries.
- Strong interpersonal skills in all mediums - phone, in-person, email, IM, working across several levels of the organization, participating group conference calls.
- Prioritization, multi-tasking, autonomy, detail-oriented, collaborative.
- Microsoft Office skillset (Excel, Word, Access primarily).
- Desire and aptitude for problem solving.
- Positive attitude and willing to self-learn new skills as needed.
Desired Qualifications
- Primary Skill: Good experience in administration and usage of HPSA and HPOO tools and good Unix or windows OS administration skills.
- Excellent Knowledge in Scripting and OO Flow troubleshoot.
- Secondary Skill: Knowledge of SQL, OS administration and ticketing tool like service now
- Other Skills (Not Part of Standard Primary/Secondary Skills): ITIL, Change Management Process
- Domain Knowledge: Banking industry with technology infrastructure support knowledge
