Virtusa is hiring for Sr Engineer & Lead - React, Python & AWS.

Job Locations: Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai, Gurgaon & Hyderabad

Experience Range: 3 yrs to 10 yrs

Role: Permanent

Notice Period: Immediate Joiners to 15 days

Sr Engineer - Data


SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER React and Python, AWS(3yrs to 6yrs)



  1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
  2. Great engineering skills with minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in software development
  3. Expertise in developing applications with AWS Cloud services, Server-less computing, AWS Lambda, Cognito, DocumentDB, API Gateway
  4. Python programing experience for developing APIs by using DocumentDB noSQL database
  5. Terraforms Create infra as a code scripts for new APIs Expertise in developing applications with Cloud technologies, and single page applications using React
  6. Good experience in - React JS and Redux, Typescript and Javascript programing experience, HTML/HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS
  7. Very good understanding in design principles, web standards and concepts, coding best practices and end-to-end software development life cycle
  8. Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills, and attention to detail
  9. Ability to communicate designs, thoughts, and ideas in an unambiguous manner


TECHNICAL LEAD - React and Python, AWS (LEAD CONSULTANT TECHNOLOGY)(7yrs to 10yrs)



  1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
  2. 8+ years of overall experience with minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience as a technical lead
  3. Minimum 2+ years of experience in leading and providing technical leadership to a 10+ member team(s) working on a complex Cloud solution
  4. Ability to work independently and manage multiple simultaneous task assignments
  5. Good understanding in design principles, Cloud technologies, web standards and concepts, and end-to-end software development life cycle
  6. Sound knowledge in different deployment architectures, release engineering and DevOps
  7. Expertise in developing applications with AWS Cloud services, Server-less computing, AWS Lambda, Cognito, DocumentDB, API Gateway
  8. Python programing experience for developing APIs by using DocumentDB noSQL database
  9. Terraforms Create infra as a code scripts for new APIs
  10. Expertise in developing applications with Cloud technologies, and single page applications using React
  11. Good experience in - React JS and Redux, Typescript and Javascript programing experience, HTML/HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS
  12. Very good written and oral communication skills with clearly communicate designs, thoughts, and ideas and ability to adjust the communications based on the audience
  13. Experience in following agile methodology and/or working in scrum teams
