Job Description

This position is at Plant location (Kharagpur)
- Working with IRON/CEMENT/STEEL/PAINT Manufacturing company will be added advantage.
- Monitoring of slow and non-moving inventory.
- Analysis of stock variance & inter supplier purchase variance.
- Batch costing analysis of Formulation, Usage and Yield variances.
- Drive cost management initiatives within the organization to achieve operational efficiencies.
- Review monthly product costing and profitability analysis.
- Review of project costs and capitalization of assets.
- Cash flow management.
- Annual budget plans with quarterly review.
- Variance analysis - comparison with actuals and budget
- Ensuring all payment from customer collected within due date and close follow-up against overdue outstanding.
- Implementing corporate goals, short & long term budgets, managing inventory & assets for the achievement of goals.
- Supervising the project sites, its insurance, and security, and maintenance of stock at the site for installations.
- Monitoring complete commercial documentation for government customers along with statutory regulations and tracking various drawbacks.
- Following up with Customer / Warehouse on billing & dispatch; resolving queries regarding dispatch status, road permits and several other clarifications.
- Liquidation of ageing inventory.
- Preparing CMA/QIS, Stock statements and other financial details required by Bankers.
- Implemented processes for Payment of Staffs and Vendors.
- Executed processes for purchase orders issue to Vendors and its supply.
- Supervising logistic functions to ensure timely clearances and cost effective solutions.
- Variance free C&F operation.
- Pro-active compliance of indirect taxation.
