Job Description

Job Summary:


The content writer/ designer will design, develop and create new content, rewrite the existing content or edit and proofread content. He/she would also be responsible for managing content on LMS and develop unique ideas for web content. He/she must be able to develop simple, easy-to-understand, user friendly content while employing good search engine optimization (SEO) techniques.


Knowledge of: Adult learning techniques; database retrieval tools; web development tools and languages (JAVA, HTML, CSS); instructional design concepts for computer-based training.


Ability to: Ability to transform the complex data into a much more understandable or user-friendly format.


Develop and present computer-based training to a diverse audience; consult with departments to analyse business processes and support technology needs; coordinate multiple projects concurrently and work with a minimum supervision.



Role & Responsibilities:

  • Design & Develop general or specific trainings, communications, articles, videos and other content.
  • Develop training materials using varied authoring tools such as Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia, Premier, HP ART, Biteable, and Video scribe. ( Mandatory )
  • Assist in research and delivery of timely, relevant and cost-effective content in accordance with program objectives.
  • Ensure all requisite documentation is collected while monitoring training effectiveness and employee progress.
  • Communicate and collaborate with colleagues to ensure quality, timelines, employee engagement and customer satisfaction for all content creation deliverables.
  • Collaborate with clients' Subject Matter Experts to build the training content
  • Support design and development of new tools and personal or organizational development ideas in the training space
  • Ability to work independently, Self-taught learner willing to read and keep up-to-date on technological changes
  • Fairly good knowledge of HTML, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Macromedia flash, MS- FrontPage etc would be of benefit in this profession.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and Google Docs
  • Should possess Knowledge & experience of using variety of learning methodologies and strategies like scenario-based learning, game-based learning, simulated learning, rapid eLearning, blended learning, game-based assessments, digital books, and other innovative approaches to ensure effective learning and retention.
