Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Warehouse-Logistics, backend Operations roles and responsibilities includes below:
1. Processing the customer orders remotely (online), carrying out quality control checks to ensure orders are correct.
2. Accuracy and attention to detail is essential to ensure orders are shipped correctly by arranging collection by a shipping service.
3. You will also be checking stock levels, correcting errors, and preparing stock orders, stock and invoice reconciliation as required.
4. You will be responsible for contacting the shipping service providers & warehouse team and responding to their queries via telephone or email in a timely and professional manner.
5. Liaising with various personnel to solve issues and reporting daily to the team leader the status of enquiries.
6. Placing supplier orders, solving issues with out of stock items, liaising with internal team regarding order or stock related issues.
7. You should possess excellent communication and administrative skills and be competent on a PC and MS Excel.
8. You will also be working on stock management, checking levels, outstanding orders, carrying out inventory checks, adjusting stock levels etc.
9. You will be helping the team in the absence of the Team Leader; you should therefore possess excellent people skills to help your colleagues excel in their roles.
10. Use IT systems to manage stock levels, delivery times and transport costs.
11. Need to ensure right products are delivered to right location on time and at a good cost.
Desired Candidate Profile
Knowledge on MS Excel
Good communication skills in English both oral and written
A positive attitude to continued learning
Logical and systematic approach to work
Good time management ability
Accountability
Strong attention to detail: Many of the items we sell look similar when there are in fact subtle differences.
We currently process several thousand orders per month. We therefore seek someone driven enough to work efficiently and accurately.
Must have 6 months to 1 years experience in a similar role
Work remotely: Yes, currently its a work from home role until Covid 19 issue is settled.
Hours: Working hours will be 12.30pm- 9.30 pm Monday to Saturday
