Position:Officer / Sr. Officer -QA

Products: Formulation Medicines (Solid Oral / Injectable / Topical)

Location: Bellandur,Bangalore

Key Result Areas :

Key result areas (KRAs) will be identified in consultation with the Manager - Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs as part of Company's Performance Appraisal and Development process. These KRAs will be regularly reviewed and adapted as required


Role Overview:

The Quality Assurance Officer is responsible for assisting in the management of Company's Quality Systems in a regulated pharmaceutical environment with regard to national regulations and internal policies and procedures. The Quality Assurance Officer will work with the Regulatory team, taking responsibility for quality assurance of all Company's products. In this role, you will be involved with the functioning of quality assurance activities on behalf of the company.



Job Profile:

  • As the Quality Assurance Officer, you will use your technical knowledge and communication skills to ensure we are consistent with GMP / TGA best practice. A day to day component of your role includes a significant focus on customer complaint processing, investigation, and drafting quality/GMP agreements.
  • There will also be exposure to oversight activities including change control, product specifications, and product quality reviews
  • Perform QA duties to deliver quality objectives.
  • Review quality documents associated with manufacturing and technical support documentation.
  • Drafting SOPs as needed.
  • Maintain QA documentation and procedures.
  • Assist with QA administration delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable standards.
  • Preparing Batch verification checklist.
  • Assisting in review of BMR, BPR, APQR, PVP, PVR, Stability reports.
  • Assisting in review of change control and deviation.
  • Draft quality assurance agreements and good manufacturing practice agreements.
  • Assisting in review of quality investigation reports.
  • Draft quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Devise sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data.
  • Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities.
  • Draft reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities.
  • Responsible for documentation for QA management systems.
  • Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements.

Desired Profile:

  • B.Pharm / M.Pharm with minimum 3 years for Officer & 5 years for Sr. Officer in Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance from Pharmaceutical Company.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, verbal and written
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Attention to detail with high accuracy
  • Analytical skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Presentation skills
  • Compliance with Medsurge policies and procedures
  • Compliance with OHS policies and procedures
