As the organization moves to a product architecture organization, having resources understand the entire technology stack is needed. Applying software development practices and discipline to infrastructure is the norm with Reliability Engineering, DevOps, and Continuous Delivery Engineering.
Experience with complex applications and integration for cloud, mainframe and distributed architecture
Leveraging critical thinking and adaptability to lead teams through complex issues
A mindset to automate everything with self-service capabilities.
Excellent knowledge of modern automation principles, for example IaC and GitOps.
Breadth of knowledge operating systems, networking, distributed computing, cloud computing.
Self-starter, capable of working without direction and able to deliver projects from scratch
Automate key SRE metrics and IT Service Operations processes including customer impact, % availability of critical business flows, SLO/SLI adherence, error budget, automate incident process for IT Service Operations through data integrating with unified communications, and alerting/notification systems, to reduce time to recovery.
Problem solving with alternative approaches and in consultation with stakeholders
Ensure solutions and engineering delivery using DevOps, SRE and IaC technology and tools
Experience on Chef, Puppet, scripting, Python and other infrastructure languages
Understanding of SW Engineering lifecycle.
DevOps concepts and understanding of Open source cloud technologies
The ability to debug web based solutions on both client and server sides
Strong understanding and practice Agile/Lean projects SCRUM, KANBAN etc.
Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to diagnose issues quickly and determine root cause with potential solutions
