Job Description

Job Details: Troubleshooting security issues and vulnerabilities in order to provide a comprehensive remediation strategy. Analyzing Cloud hosted environment to produce a report of potential security risks with detailed information in how to address them. Perform vulnerability scanning to detect Cloud environments risks using a variety of tools Perform Security Data Collection Security scan of computer systems, network devices, databases, servers and file permissions Perform an analysis of the data collected Review of Policy settings and compliance of Unix and Windows servers and desktops Identify and discard false positives Prioritize properly the threads that needs to be address immediately versus mid to long term Establish a remediation strategy Work in conjunction with others Cloud teams to address those risks Work with other team members involved in security issues Create and implement routines for troubleshooting, debugging and restoring, backing up, and maintaining security tools. Ensure all procedures and policies are followed as required to assure compliance at all times. Research and define new procedures and identify tools for improving the support of the operation. Experience: The ideal candidate should posses 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience within the software industry with a minimum of 2 years as a Security Analyst. Experience handling security forensic and assessment tools is required. Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent experience is desired.
