Job Description

Looking For Trademark Associate for a Legal Services Firm

Researching existing trademarks so as to advise on availability
Responsibilities will include

Handling of trade mark / copyright searches, application drafting and filing, prosecution, oppositions, cancellations, assignment deeds and related matters.
Researching existing trademarks so as to advise on availability
Drawing up contracts & overseeing the trademark registration process
Managing & protecting intellectual property rights once trademarks & designs have been registered
Taking appropriate action if client s trademark rights are broken
Keeping up with trademark renewals
Drafting and vetting Agreements including Co-Existence Agreements and Franchisee Agreement.
Associate will be required to work in the trade mark and copyrights prosecution practice.
