Job Description

*Hiring for Database Architect for one of the leading IT company in Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad.*

Location- Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad

Salary upto 31 LPA

10+ years overall IT experience deploying and managing production scale databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL server, etc.

5+ years experience as a database architect in a client facing role

Aws/Azure cloud architect/migration experience

ADDITIONAL GUIDELINES:

AWS/Azure/GCP experience

Job Description

Oracle and Postgresql Database experience is must
AWS/Azure/GCP experience is added advantage
Significant experience with PostgreSQL,Oracle, MySQL, and cloud native databases such as RDS, Aurora CosmoDB, etc.
RDS, EDB-PGSQL, MySQL is a plus
Understanding in creating AWS/Azure Landing Zones and Security policies
Strong understanding of core AWS/Azure services and AWS/Azure architecture best practices
Demonstrate a strong understanding of the AWS/Azure Well-Architected Framework to validate solution/architecture
10+ years overall IT experience deploying and managing production scale databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL server, etc.
5+ years experience as a database architect in a client facing role
Application discovery and migration wave planning
Hands on experience architecting and leading large-scale database projects
Demonstrated industry leadership in the fields of databases and cloud computing
Hands-on experience cloud native migrations tools such as AWS/Azure Database Migration Service and AWS/Azure Schema Conversion Tool
Experience with AWS/Azure Cloud Adoption Framework
RDBMS skills: SQL writing and tuning, optimization techniques, etc.
Scripting skills BASH, Python
Practical Linux and Windows-based skills in a Cloud or Virtualized environment.
