PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Digital Supply Chain and Manufacturing practice within SAP Solution Delivery Center helps our customers in their journey towards Intelligent Enterprise, S/4 Digital core, Innovation, Cloud and Industry cloud in the area of supply chain planning and execution across various industries.
We are looking for 3 to 5 years of experienced consultants in the production planning, advanced planning with embedded Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (ePP/DS) areas in S/4HANA with good domain/industry knowledge and/or experience in SAP manufacturing solutions to strengthen our delivery capability.
Expectation and Tasks
- Aptitude to define the problem concisely and hypothesize the proposed solution
- Good understanding of end-to-end core ERP business processes of production planning, advanced planning with embedded Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (ePP/DS) in S/4HANA.
- Help customers adopt SAP Best Practices, optimize their supply chain processes and implementation of SAP s Digital Supply Chain solutions
- SAP Business process configurations and testing of process scenarios
- Preparation of functional specifications, test scripts for customer solution
- Ability to facilitate customer discussions and elaborate on the areas of proposed improvements
Role Requirements
- 3 years of SAP Experience or 3 years Industry / manufacturing Domain experience in the areas of production planning and detailed scheduling
- Experience/exposure to any one or more below SAP solution areas
- Production Planning
- Advanced Planning embedded PP/DS
- Supply Chain Planning
- Exposure/experience in Show & tell workshops, SAP Best Practices
- Experience in business process configurations and testing of process scenarios in the areas of production planning and detailed scheduling in S/4HANA
- At least 1 full lifecycle implementations /Rollout demonstrating the ability to manage configuration, data set up, develop process flows etc., and/ or active involvement in implementation of above modules in their organization and experience as power users.
- Ability to write detailed functional specifications and test scripts for SAP solutions
- Good knowledge on software project life cycle and SAP s Activate methodology
- Knowledge / exposure to business process re-engineering is good to have
- Exposure to SAP s supply chain planning solutions like Integrated Business Planning (IBP) is good to have
Education and Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering or Post-Graduation or Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- Strong customer-facing experience and well-developed customer focus
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical topics to management and non-technical audiences
- Positive Attitude and ability to multi-task
