PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Within SAP Solution Delivery Center, we are looking for an experienced Business Enterprise Principal Consultant with deep and proven experience in delivering successful E2E Customer Centric projects in the area of Industrial Machinery & Components (IM&C) and/or discrete Manufacturing industries.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As a Business Enterprise Principal Consultant, you must possess deep product expertise/business experience & IM&C domain / Industry solution experience and the ability to lead SAP implementation/development projects.
You will be responsible for:
- Supporting SAP s Manufacturing Industries customers with S4 HANA implementation in the areas of S4 HANA Logistics.
- Help customers to adopt SAP best practices, optimize their processes and implementation of optimized processes
- Be the trusted advisor and able to provide solution to address the business requirements and challenges for our IM&C / discrete manufacturing industry customers.
- Able to articulate a high level business application sunset or adoption roadmap to Senior Level IT and business stakeholders and describe business operations impact (change management).
- Must be able to gather business requirements, identify core business processes, and ability to map within the current/ future business application portfolio best supports the business requirements and processes.
- Collaboration with development / supporting projects for new SAP developments for the Manufacturing industries projects when required.
- To provide thought leadership and resolve complex issues in escalated projects.
- Project Bid support - creation and execution of presentations and demos to clients and partners.
- Ensure usage of newest technology, focusing on TCO and ROI when enhancing industry solutions and services
Supporting the Ramp-Up of new SAP products at our clients of in the Manufacturing sector and ensuring knowledge transfer to partners and customers
- Should have knowledge and exposure to SAP Industry Cloud solutions
- Expert knowledge on SAP solutions and upcoming roadmap
- Experience in Presales support is added advantage
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Bachelor s Degree Master s degree preferred but not required
- Deep SAP Product Expertise S4 HANA Logistics in manufacturing industries
- Implementation experiecne in Sales & Distribution, Material Management
- Implementation Experience with inbound & outbound logistics, procurement, warehouse management
- Strong integration knowledge of logistics integration with manufacturing, procurement, inventory management, sales & quality Management
- Experience in SAP Fiori applications
- Deep implementation Experience in Industrial Machinery & Component manufacturing industries
- Strong analytical skills, result-oriented and effectiveness in problem solving.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Team player and ability to work successfully in culturally diverse environments.
- Experience in SAP Activate Methodology
- Experience in Solution Manager experience is preferred.
- Experience with extended warehouse management is preferred
- Strong client facing experience and working experience with global customers across the regions
- Strong knowledge/experience in the industry trends and SAP solution positioning for the industry.
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Overall 18+ years of IM&C Industry Domain / Industry Solution experience and minimum 13+ years of SAP consulting experience in in any one of the Manufacturing industries (IM&C, Hitech and Aerospace & Defense)
- Minimum 4 to 5 End to End implementation project experience in customer facing role.
- Minimum 2 End to End S4 HANA Logistics implementation experience in customer facing role.
- Proven ability to communicate with all relevant stakeholders within an organization.
- Has been in a team lead role on a major project and has provided mentoring/leadership to others
- Experience in S/4 HANA Conversion is preferred.
- Experience as trusted advisor in Automotive specific solutions, S4HANA, innovation, and Cloud solutions is highly preferred.
- Knowledge on SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud solution and SAP Innovation portfolio is preferred
- Awareness and knowledge on Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence, iRPA, Business process intelligence scenarios is desirable
- Able to travel to project locations (short term and long term) as required
