As a SRE Lead (PVAI), you will be responsible to support and maintain the Infrastructural and production and client environments which is hosted on the cloud (AWS). Responsibilities As an SRE lead, your responsibilities include- Work with various internal/external partners and define short term and long-term strategy for Infrastructure and DevOps requirement in PVAI.
- Build a premier Infra/DevOps team by hiring the best and mentoring them to deliver the best system and services.
- Designing the Infrastructure which will be highly scalable and robust for the PVAI product and will scale automatically with increasing 10-20x load on system with negligible effort.
- Define processes and methodologies to follow by the SRE team to ensure best in class service and support by SRE team.
- Implement, maintain, and improve Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing and Continuous Delivery environments taking in automated scripts and CI/CD methodology from the existing DevOps team in product engineering
- Own and lead initiatives to define, design, and implement SRE solutions which includes reference architectures, estimates, planning and costing for various clients of Genpact PVAI
- Responsible for the entire infrastructure of the clients hosted in different cloud environments like AWS
- Act as a domain expert on SRE standard methodologies with Cloud Formation, Auto Scaling Groups, and Configuration Management
- Review and audit of existing solution, design and system architecture
- Spin up environments for clients, build a robust app deployment process and strengthen the configuration management (environment, user configurations etc.)
- Complete ownership of maintenance and support of client environments
- Serve as a systems and automation evangelist providing thought leadership, participating in conferences, authoring white papers, etc.
- Bachelors or Master s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Should have good experience in industry.
- Prior experience in building large scale scalable, high-performance, low latency application infrastructure (Storage, compute, network, database etc.) in cloud.
- Experience in handling SRE/DevOps team preferable SRE team
- Solid understanding of various AWS/Azure technologies and relevant experience in these areas.
- Relevant experience in DevOps & automation: Kubernetes, Git, Github, Jenkins, Terraform, Chef, Docker, Ansible, Cloud Formation Templates, etc.
