Lead DevOps Engineer - Test & Automation @ Ficosa Engineering

Job Description

FICO is seeking a highly-skilled devops engineer to join our converged automation team. Our team develops an in-house automation solution (entirely greenfield) which we own and operate, and we also function as an internal consultant to other teams in our business unit to help them achieve their automation goals when they might not have the necessary skills within their own group.

Our team is comprised of .NET developers (we use ASP.NET Core), devops engineers, and infrastructure experts. We are a highly-skilled team whose members enjoy the opportunity to step in wherever needed to get the job done.

We are currently looking for a devops engineer with solid application and browser testing experience. You will actively contribute these skills to the team, teach us, and learn from us too as we continue down our path of automating IT at FICO.

Responsibilities include:

• Create and manage .NET tests to ensure that our software quality meets the user s requirements though unit, functional, security, and user-acceptance testing

• Create and manage Selenium test for UI testing and production validation

• Identify quality issues and work with developers to resolve bugs

• Build, configure, and deploy Docker containers (Swarm, kubernetes soon)

• Create automation for Linux systems, load balancers, and other infrastructure resources

• Working within the organization to collect requirements and develop automation and testing solutions for other groups we consult with

Required skills:

• Strong Selenium WebDriver experience with scripting in Selenese or client API language

• Strong understanding of browsers, HTML, and JavaScript (AngularJS)

• Strong Linux OS experience

• .NET programming (C#) and unit testing experience (preferably xUnit)

• Jenkins experience, both installing/managing Jenkins and building projects and pipelines

• Configuring, building, and deploying Docker containers

• Full CI/CD toolchain setup, including blue/green deployment methods

• Configuration management (Ansible, Puppet, or similar)

• Ability to create SQL queries for testing and validation

• Produce documentation for areas of ownership

Additional desired skills:

• Shell scripting (BASH, Powershell)

• Python

• NoSQL
