Job Description
AM, Source to PayThe Ops Sourcing Buyer will assist in the execution of Sourcing projects to enable the delivery of defined country annual savings targets. These projects will deliver advantage for the Client business through cost savings, lifecycle value generation, demand management, innovation and reducing risk within the supply chain.
The role will work across a variety of categories so will need to demonstrate a broad range of Indirect category knowledge and be able to work dynamically and flexibly with a broad range of SMEs across the Client business.
Responsibilities- Work closely with Client and HOP to lead procurement transformation programs and deliver business impact with high customer happiness
- Implementation and optimization of Procurement Process, Ariba Management Tools and No PO No Pay Policy.
- Analysing the Purchase trend as per the defined Categories, preparation of Analysis Report, Analysing past data, future renewals and Forecasting future requirements for hassle free production and cost savings
- Drafting and Negotiating contracts; drive the preparation of proposal documents, statement of works (SOWs), quotations and bids with pertinent specifications, terms and conditions dedicated
- Work on Global/Local MSA, Sponsorship agreements, SOW s, Secondments, Renewals, Amendments, Terminations.
- Preparing and circulating Contract expiry reports and sending expiry notifications to all the concerned people including partners. This helps in the Contract extensions or contract closures/terminations.
- Preparing and circulating multiple critical reports which helps clients in decision making
- Commercials and Contract negotiations with suppliers as per company policy and award business to selected supplier
- Work on Buying activities which are assigned as Projects
Minimum qualifications
- Graduation (in any subject area)
- Meaningful work experience in a sourcing role preferably with indirect services experience
- Business knowledge and day to day understanding Sourcing and Procurement activities
- Good communication and analytical skills.
- In depth understanding of best-in-class procurement processes (S2P) (Sourcing, eRFX, Contracting, Negotiation skills, Categories, PR-PO, Buying Channels, Catalogues / Non Catalogues, Rebate structure/plan etc.)
- Knowledge of Contract terms and conditions in country laws and regulations
- Customer Focused and ability to understand quickly the needs and requirements of the business
- Strong Verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interpret financial data and apply to decision making
- Knowledge of Spend Analysis, Creation of Ops Plan, Estimation Analysis, Gap Analysis, etc.
- Knowledge of global market situation, Inflation/deflation, Standard RPI rate, etc.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a complex, fast paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous tasks requiring frequent communication, organization, time management, and problem solving skills
- Strong customer-centric focus, relationship management with key partners, persuasive, negotiating, proactive and can-do attitude a must
- Good command of MS Office Tools (i.e. excel, ppt)
- Exposure to ERP systems (Oracle / SAP / Ariba / Emptoris any other S&P tools is positive)
