Job Description
Manager, Cyber Security Performance ManagementThe Cyber Security Performance Management team will work directly with the leadership to ensure that effective, measurable Cyber metrics are collected, analyzed, and presented on both and adhoc and continual basis using the existing infrastructure also Monitor the external security scoring sites to make sure the external scores are maintained to an acceptable limit.
The candidate will be responsible for developing and managing the security matrices, dashboard and derive analytics around it to create management dashboards to ensure data collected are impactful, and assist in driving sound management decisions. The candidate must have a strong leadership background in creating clear defined matured metrics, data analytics, understanding of control maturity, Maturity frameworks and well versed with industry standards like NIST , SANS , CIS , ISO , PCI etc .
Responsibilities- Must execute company-wide security compliance metrics and status reports (Automated and Manual) - weekly monthly, quarterly, and annually
- Work with information security team members and others on metrics and compliance data gathering from security and governance processes and devices.
- Oversee completion of day-to-day checklist(s), including: management report scheduling, running and escalation follow up activity status.
- Remain current on cyber security trends and intelligence (open source and commercial) in order to guide the security analysis, identification and benchmarking capabilities
- Oversee documentation owned by the team including but not limited to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Metrics and Measurement dashboards etc.
- Develop a metrics scorecard to display the level of effectiveness of enterprise security controls.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
- Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science (B. Tech., B.E, MCA, M.Sc. IT etc.).
Preferred qualifications
- CISSP, CRISC, CISM or CISA would be a considered an asset
- Experience in Data analytics
- Seven plus years of information security related experience, in areas such as: security operations, and vulnerability management, Active directory systems and Network Security tools and technology and data analytics
- Clear understanding of ongoing metrics vs the management metrics
- Must have excellent knowledge on Excel and other such BI tools for data analysis.
- Knowledge of scripting and working on API s shall be a great advantage
- Good experience with at least on the following technologies: Unix, Windows Server, Active Directory, Windows Workstation, Routers/Switches, Firewall Management, SANS/NAS, Web servers, IAM/AAA, IDS/HDS, System vulnerability scanning tools, Application/Database vulnerability scanning tools, mobile device analysis or Secure coding
- Good judgment ability to determine which issues to escalate vs. to resolve independently, and provide suggestions for possible resolution
- Excellent verbal , written communication and presentation skills
- Good time management and multitasking skills
