Job Description
Assistant Manager, SQL Database Administration- In this role, you will be responsible to have a good exposure of database Backup & Recovery and SQL Database Administration.
- Experience with Windows admin task including basic commands
- Experience in SQL Server version 2008/2012/2014/2016/2017.
- Proficient in Database Creation, Configuration, and Maintenance & Patching on Windows.
- Experience in Database administration, Performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of performance monitoring and tuning.
- SQL Database Installation/Migration on Windows environment
- Good knowledge in TSQL
- Should be able to handle Daily status and outage calls and work in 24*7
- Proficient with ITIL process.
- Experience in High availability HA and disaster recovery for SQL Server.
- Good experience in log shipping, database mirroring, Always-on, Clustering and Replication.
- Build relationship with business partners
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent subject
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of Oracle Server and hands on experience
