Inviting applications for the role of Manager, Taxation We are looking for professionals who have to ensure day to day operations are carried out efficiently for real estate and personal property tax process. Discuss and report process health to customer and other partners. Drive process improvements. Carry out people functions. Responsibilities- Manage day to day activities of the real estate and personal property tax payments team
- Review process health and give periodical updates to the customer and higher management
- Review tax journal entries and reconciliations and other daily and monthly activities
- Enforce to Compliance guidelines and ensure to meet process critical metrics & CPIs
- Preparation of presentation for Governance meetings
- Conducting monthly and annual performance reviews for the team
- Mentoring the team members to handle their performance and Grooming team members for next levels
- Driving transformation, automation, continuous improvement projects
- Good document reading and understanding/analytical ability review bills and interpret, assess amounts claimed by landlords / jurisdictions
- Responsible for communicating with the business & Jurisdiction (Tax authorities) (email/call)
- Ensure process audit requests & Adhoc queries are addressed appropriately
- Tech Savvy Need to search and download bills from jurisdiction websites, search details of properties on internet and assess
- Providing safe and healthy work environment for team
- Bachelor of commerce / Master of commerce / Master of Business Administration
- Good in Excel - Need to maintain trackers for each activity and reporting on status update
- Excellent interpersonal skills with attention to details
- Exposure to US Taxation (Personal & Real Estate Tax) will be an added advantage
