Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant DevOps Quality Engineer, Operations
We are looking for a Lead Consultant DevOps Quality Engineer work with application teams to help accelerate their DevOps adoption.
ResponsibilitiesThe role should be able to prioritise multiple tasks within the program, with the following scope of work and with the underlined skillsets.
Proactively engage with the product team and understand the product development, build, test and release workflows and processes.
Proactively engage the IT teams as needed based on the above plan and take the responsibility to deploy, test and release the project or module assigned by the team, as per SLA.
Will own the DevOps Infrastructure of the team and will lead the effort to engage other stakeholders with a plan, in case of infrastructure modifications and upgrade
Skills RequiredAssist developers meet their quality goals through test planning, designing test processes, implementing automation and configuring tools.
This position will be embedded in an Infrastructure Automation Devops squad so the ideal candidate would have experience of automating the testing of infrastructure management code and infrastructure-as-code.
Experience of modern development tools and practices including git, Jenkins, test-driven development, and continuous integration in a Linux-based environment.
Knowledge of the Python programming language and Python automated testing tools and frameworks.
Ability to write comprehensive unit tests, including the mocking of external utilities and APIs.
Knowledge of standard Linux command line debugging tools.
Qualifications we seek in you Minimum Qualifications- Ansible or other infrastructure as code products.
- Experience of QA-ing code that interacts with RESTful APIs, especially to manage and configure compute and storage infrastructure.
Engaging multiple projects on DevOps from multiple product teams with DevOps Infra ownership.
