We have an Urgent opening for Validation Engineer position based in Pune

Below are the position details

Roles and Responsibilities

Validation Engineer is responsible for independently testing and verification of electrical controls on new/ production machines and is also responsible for setting-up of test procedures for all machines.

Main Responsibilities

• Guarantee the quality of products (~70-80% of your time)
• Take part in calibration and validation of new machines and/or new functions Modular concept,
• Provide technical support during machine start-up (trouble-shooting, training) >> all machines,
• Make electrical audit of our machines >> all machines,
• Create and review setting-up and start-up procedure for machines produced in India >> all machines,
• Create test/validation tools (independent or integrated in the machine control) >> Modular concept,
• Guarantee the satisfaction of our customers (~20-30% of your time)
• Provide technical support to Technical Service,
• Visit customers site when problems require a high level of technical skill.
• B.E (Electronics / Electrical)
• 6 - 10 year of field experience
• Experience in Printing and Packaging industry is an added advantage

Critical Skills and Personal Attributes

• Hands on experience in commissioning, troubleshooting of machines
• Knowledge of machine functions
• Should be independently able to validate new softwares
• Knowledge of AC/DC drives, Servo drives and autotuning of drives
• Knowledge of machine feedback elements such as encoders, resolvers, sensors and Limit switches etc
• Knowledge of PLC/IPC (Siemens, Beckhoff etc)
• Knowledge of Ethernet, Arcnet and Ethercat protocols
• Awareness of EMC/Shielding on machines
• Experience in automation using IPC/PLC
• Knowledge in high level software programming such as C++, Delphi, VB, etc...will be an added advantage
