Trade Services Rep 4 - Bengaluru/Bangalore @ Wells Fargo

Job Description

About Role Performs processing and releasing of Trade transactions. You will closely work with other team members and with the Line of Business.

Responsibilities 1. Responsible for servicing Trade Services clients with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

2. Ability to perform Trade Finance functions specific to document examination of import and export transactions

3. Under minimal supervision, incumbent provides all L/C services to customers. These services include: opening and amending L/Cs; processing payments; informing customers of problems or discrepancies; and inputting L/C information into computer system.

4. Keep abreast of the latest changes on the commercial law/government regulations and provide updates on ICC opinions changes in the trade industry to the staff

5. Identify Issue/problems related to process, assess, identify and fix performance related issues

6. Perform root cause analysis and propose ideas/process improvement fixes

7. Be up to date with latest developments and procedural changes governing trade/UCP/ISP /ISBP/URR/URC, Inco terms etc.

8. Contribute as a team player and ensure smooth running of daily operations and processing all export LC transactions in compliance with the commercial law/government regulations, e.g. OFAC, UCP600, URR, URC various ability to meet the cut off for various currencies

9. May have direct/indirect responsibility for supporting, advising, and resolving disputes for customers, clients /vendors

10. Update the applicable/relevant systems of record with appropriate data Essential Qualification University Degree in Commerce, Business or related discipline

8+ Years of Trade experience

Minimum 4 Years of document examination experience

CDCS Certified

Other Trade related certifications would be added advantage

Flexible to work in night shifts

Strong analytical skills Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills

Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information

Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills

Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
